Sap guys, its so sad to see some things happening in our beloved country - Kenya. I know the fever is not yet over but it is we the youth who should install this "program" known as UNITY cum LOVE in out hearts. We are the parents of tomorrow and our kids will emulate what they will get from us. This phobia might have started years back but it is the high time we realize that violence will not only make us all evil before the eyes of the Lord but also make Kenya underdeveloped. Lets take the initiative and unite as ONE! ONE KENYA, ONE TRIBE, ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION! Chao!! Nicholas.

I totally agree with Nicholas,we are one people.I long for the day that we as the youth will shun ethnicity which is tearing us apart and uphold unity. We should shun ethnic politics and at all times support a credible person to office instead of voting a person because s/he comes from our ethnic background. We are the present and the future lets change this trend.

I'm thinking of buying stocks and was wondering if anyone has any insight. For example, I understand you have to open a CDS account and then how does trading happen i.e. how do you know what to buy...is there a website you can monitor stock prices or do you utilize the services of stock brokers? Other than the newspapers where else can you get info about company stock performances? Do these have to declared as income and therefore cause additional taxes for the stock owner? Any other investment ideas? Not that I have plent of dough but just in case I hit the jackpot... I know this should be a separate thread but does anyone share my viewpoint that Barack Obama just might be the next President of the US? If so, there's hope for the youth :)

Our goal is to invest in the long-term development of progressive leaders...individuals who believe that government has an ongoing responsibility to help build a moral economy and a more just society, as well as ensure basic individual rights, protect the environment, defend the rights of the youth, and work for global cooperation. Moreover, there are a lot of other specific metrics outside that we can use to measure deliverance of our objectives and their impact...including the total number of youth, activists, diverse operatives, organizers and future leaders associated with the association, measuring the diversity of our objectives, how effective we are in engaging new folks in the leadership process, the ability of our youths to get into positions of leadership, the total hours we spend in a given year, just to name a few. That if anyone has any more questions, they can post them here, and we would be happy to answer them.

Hey,
Sorry been out of touch for a while.
I think this is a very nice idea, count me in and let me know how I can be of help. I am currently in the Young Kenyans for Restoration of Democracy and it encompasses several youth groups and I think right now the best you can do is be in touch with youths groups so that you can do stuff pamoja as a unit!
Have a great day and be blessed.

I applaud your noble initiative of trying to get kenyan youths come together and indulge in productive discourse on matters affecting their lives. It comes in handy at this sad time in our country's history when the youthful generation is being misused to cause chaos and destabilise the society. I can only say: don't give up there' still hope for our generation despite the anarchy and seemingly hopeless situation our country finds itself in. Felix
